Lots of Changes

So Raegan has been keeping very busy these past few months and has had many first. She is now rolling over and getting into everything. She has started on 1st foods and cereal which she LOVES and has found other foods like cantaloupe and watermelon that make her gums feel better. Yesterday she broke her first tooth through.
Katelynn is done with school for the next 2 1/2 months. I think that she misses being at school and seeing her friends because she has asked a few times to go back. She has also started tee ball which she seems to enjoy for now. On top of tee ball we are going to get her into swimming lessons. I can't believe that in 4 short days she will be the big 5.
Caden continues to be Caden always daring and very outgoing but at the same time so sweet and loving. He also is going to try his hand at swim lessons and MAYBE start school in August. That is a BIG maybe.
We have a busy summer ahead with BB Q'S and family functions. I am so excited for some of the trips we will be taking this summer. I just hope that we still have time to relax and enjoy the summer.

Long Overdue

Wow! It has been a long time since the last post so this one might be rather long. We are all doing good, ready for summer that is for sure. We have a very busy summer planned this year and I fear that it will become much busier as the kids get older.
Katelynn is still going to kinder prep and loves it still. I hope that her love for school will continue as she progresses through school. She has learned so much and is even starting to read small books with the help of mom or dad. She just recently won 2ND place in her age group at a local coloring contest. She was so happy and excited that she won some money. Katelynn has become such a pro at riding her bike without training wheels and has become brave enough that she is now riding in the pasture with no help. Katelynn is also playing T-Ball this summer so we will see how that goes. She is growing up so fast and its hard to believe that she will be 5 in just a few short months.
Caden is still outgoing and ambitious as ever. He has such an interest in hunting and fishing just like his dad. He has started to take an interest in riding his bike without training wheels but doesn't have that mastered just yet. I have to say that he is all boy, getting into everything that he can. Many days(when its nice) I find him playing in his dads tools or playing on the tractor. Last night we all went driving around trying to find a turkey. Caden looked at Cooter with the straightest face and said " Dad you better let me shoot because your not a good shot."Caden most defiantly has a love for the outdoors and farming. When he wants to look at books he will bring you one of his tractor magazines and he can tell you what almost every piece of equipment in the book is.
Raegan is growing by leaps and bounds. She now weights 17 pounds and has started to roll over from back to tummy and tummy to back all within the past week. She has such a calm, laid back personalty but can be one of the most stubborn babies that I have ever met at some times. She is sleeping what I consider a full night at her age which is so nice for me. She still has little to no hair that I think has a reddish tint to it. She is not yet sitting up on her own but I fear it will not be long and she will have that tackled.
As for Cooter and I it is the same old story of the busy lives of parents. Cooter has been very busy at work now that the weather is getting warmer. I am still working at Seneca Chiropractic part time which is wonderful. I love working there and not many people can say that they love there job. Hope all is well with everyone else. God Bless and have a great day until the next time I get around to posting.

She's Here

So we have a new addition. Raegan Morgan was born on Friday December 4Th at 7:39 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 1oz. She has a little bit of hair that is a medium brown color. My dad is so happy to have a grandchild with dark colored hair. Katelynn and Caden couldn't love her more. Caden is defiantly a baby hog. He will not let anybody hold her but him at first but know he has subsided from that phase and is on to "can I pick her up". I have added some pics for everyone to see hope that you enjoy them.

What a fun week

So there is still no baby like I had hoped but that is OK we still have 9 days until the due date. I guess that I just really want her to be here for thanksgiving. Today we spent the day at mom and dads because Tuesday was mom's birthday. The kids had fun giving her the present that we had gotten for her last weekend when we went shopping. We had a great day playing, hanging Christmas lights outside and just goofing around. Dad had a good time laughing at the kids and there horse play. I will have some new pics to post of the kids from our first snow this week that fell on Monday. It was so cold out that I only a couple. Katelynn enjoyed staying home last week because she got out of school early on Monday, No school Tuesday and Wednesday she never has school. She had off Friday because it was the afternoon class that had there thanksgiving feast that day. She had a blast on Thursday at school because of the Thanksgiving feast. It was an all day event. She went to school at the normal time but parents showed up the feast on the potluck dinner at 11:00 followed by a very cute little program by the kids. We didn't get home until a little after 1:00 that day. She had a blast and so did Caden. He kept on saying that he wanted to go to school. I think that is all for this weeks update. Hope everyone has a great next week and a safe and happy thanksgiving.

The time in gettting closer

So we only have about 3 weeks left until my due date. I am hoping that she will come a little early and be here for Thanksgiving. today Caden and I put the finishing touches on "her area" in Katelynn's room. Katelynn is excited to have a sister but not so sure about having to share her room with her. Caden is super excited and loves to kiss my belly and look in the "baby door"(my belly button) with a flashlight to talk to sister. I just hope that he keeps that same attitude of loving on his sister when she gets here. I am glad to say that we do officially have a name picked for her. The middle name is still up in the air. We may just let the kiddos decide. Hope everyone has a great day.
